Large dentil cornice repair in Govan, Glasgow

The owner of the property here had separated the hallway from the living room in this flat in Govan, Glasgow. By installing a false wall to separate the two rooms, a large section of the cornice had to be removed. Our job was to take a sample of the existing cornice decoration and make a mould to use when we repair the missing section. We took precise measurements from the original cornice decoration to enable us to calculate the length that we had to make. On the day of fitting the cornice, we were able to fit the made to measure cornice without a struggle. We have an eye for detail which can be seen in the before and after photographs of the repaired cornice.
